Steve called this morning to tell me the cows were out! Thankfully this time he meant something a little different. 😉

Such a fun idea, and great way to raise funds for the @domoreag foundation!

The Do More Ag Foundation is a not-for- profit organization focusing on mental health in agriculture across Canada! Such an important thing to bring awareness too.

Shout out to the Middlesex Junior Farmers for their innovative and creative idea to raise funds and awareness in the midst of a pandemic. Great job!

Someone got to play hooky this afternoon and skip

Someone got to play hooky this afternoon and skip his last class. One of his favourite jobs is to help with moving the cows to pasture every spring. The last two years he has been able to help out due to the pandemic and being home for remote learning.

Three generations moving cows today. These moments are far more valuable to us then sitting in the classroom...as we all know, time is short!

He will look back and remember these days. As frustrating as it has been for both of us, I hope he only remembers these moments. The character building, life learning, time spent with wiser generations then he.

Definitely a perk of working from home, a family run farm. 💕
